Hi, my name is Andrew Long.

I’ve always been a bit of a sport freak and so when I had the opportunity to become AU Officer and get involved with all of the university’s sports I seized it willingly. Basically I help Lizzie (who works far too hard for her own good) in the AU office. I was involved with organising the bunfight and the re-freshers bunfight. I also maintain the AU website (http://sport.susu.org) and will be heavily involved with this year’s Sports Ball. As well as all this, I have the "privilege" of sitting on several "highly interesting" committees (they aren’t that bad really).

Another nice aspect of this job is not only working with the friendly people of the Union Executive and AU Office, but also the fact that it is only part time. This allows me to continue to pursue my sport and also leaves me a little bit of time to complete the final year of my degree. Oh, and did I mention that I get a free T-shirt and hoody with my name on it?

All in all, I’m thoroughly enjoying myself (knackered, but nonetheless enjoying myself).
