University bus services have been suspended.
Services from Uni-link, Bluestar, and Firststar are all suspended.
A few minutes ago, the Uni-link Twitter site issued an update:
URGENT: Due to increasingly severe road conditions all Unilink services are temporarily withdrawn until the situation improves
Bluestar issued this statement via twitter:
*URGERNT* Tempoary withdrawl of services until weather improves
Firstbus services are also suspended citing unsafe conditions.
Reports are coming in of buses stranded along route, while unconfirmed reports are circulating of a bus ‘crashing’.
The University is expected to announce a snow update at 12 noon regarding afternoon exams.
A Uni-link bus sits abandoned after snowfall causes major transport disruption around the city.
