SCA: Student Volunteering Week
A date for your diaries - February 24th! Next Tuesday sees the launch of Student Volunteering Week with Student Community Action (SCA).
Come and visit us during Activate! We will be there from 11am-3pm on the concourse and level 3 of the union, come along and find out what voluntary organisations in the local area have to offer. In the evening, grab your dancing shoes and head down to Garden Court, where there will a chance to meet some current volunteers and try out some different types of dancing!
On 25th, if you have the afternoon free, why not head down to the Manor House hospital garden in West End and get involved with the transformation of the garden for an hour or two. There's plenty to do and it's a great way to get involved with the local community, gain new skills and meet new people.
If you are interested in any volunteering opportunities or want to find out more information then email Ruth French in the SCA Office scaction@soton.ac.uk or visit the website http://action.susu.org.
