This is a pop song, a good old fashioned, feed the masses, pop song and Ali Love is first to admit it, unlike many artists who shy away from, or rather whose ego pushes away, the mainstream label. And this single is excellent, doing everything it says on the tin. It’s an irresistible slice of disco funk, as smooth as a pair of velvet flares, but far, far more fashionable. A great one to spin on the dance floor.
Late Night Session is out now on Columbia.
