The festival in question relishes in staging a combination of music, comedy and circus and theatre, with 45 companies, 14 hatters and 6 commissioning partnerships being deeply involved in the world famous event.

Many of the acts on show are renown for their acrobatics, artistic talent and overall wit, including Betty Bawn (strongest woman in the world), Acrojou (relentless and explosive acrobats) and Andy Martin (local musician and creator of ‘The Hat Song’, produced in celebration of the festival’s 40th year).

The Winchester Hat Fair began on Friday 4th July and lasts three days, ending on Sunday 6th July.
