Theft in King’s Worthy Lead Police to Urge Residents to Secure Homes


Police are pleading with local residents to keep their properties locked and secure after a house was broken into in King’s Worthy.

The theft occurred on Monday 4th August in the mid-hours of the afternoon, were a bank card and a short amount of cash were stolen from the property.

A spokesperson for the Hampshire Constabulary released a statement: “The victim was in the garden at the time of the incident and we would urge people to ensure their doors and windows are secure at all times to prevent opportunistic thieves from gaining entry”.
