Police Appeal for Witnesses Following Bedford Place Attack


Police are appealing for witnesses after an assault outside takeaway Pizza GoGo on Bedford Place left a man with a bleed on the brain.

The incident occurred at about 1.15am on Sunday, May 19, the victim was a 29-year-old man who has not be named.

Detectives are particularly interested in hearing from any witnesses who saw a balding man in a light coloured long-sleeve shirt and another man with dark hair who has tattooed arms and was wearing a white short-sleeve tee shirt.

Detective Constable Martin Brewer, who is leading the investigation said: “There were lots of people around at the time of the incident, and police are appealing to them to make contact with officers.”
