Students in their final year are being offered the chance to sit on a Graduation Ball committee and decide what will happen at the event in June 2014.
There are 12 positions open on the committee, and applicants must submit their nomination by 9am on Friday 22nd November. Those involved will have a say in how the event budget is spent and which acts are hired to perform.
On his SUSU blog, Union President David Gilani said that the job of the committee is to ‘make sure that your peers get the night that they deserve’, and that the move is a continuation of his plan to put students at the heart of commercial services.
The form to apply to be on the committee can be found here.
