A new Academic Skills Hub has opened in the Hartley Library as a place where students can go to find out more about the skills they need to be successful in their studies at university and beyond.
The Hub has been designed to help students improve on skills they need to succeed. This could include improving your referencing, tips on how to deliver a presentation, and help on avoiding plagiarism.
The Hub is staffed by librarians who are able to point students in the direction of services which they require and has been based on feedback received from students surveys.
The Hub is open from 10am to 12pm and 2pm to 4pm from Monday to Friday throughout February until May.
Students do not need to make appointments as you can either turn up or alternatively ask questions on the Library website.
As a new feature of the library, you can send feedback to firstname.lastname@example.org to help shape support in the future.
