SUSU RAG are ready for their annual Big Give event which returns to campus next Monday 27th April to Sunday 3rd May.
Each year Southampton RAG (Raise and Give) holds their own version of what is widely known in many universities as ‘RAG week’. Unlike some other universities, Southampton’s Big Give is a week long campaign dedicated to each person making a small donation but making a big difference – giving birth to the slogan: ‘Give a pound, change a life.’
This year, the Big Give is taking place between Monday 27th April to Sunday 3rd May with activities happening in and around campus. There will be a Colour Run, Open Mic Night, the Big Bar Crawl and Sunday’s ‘Big Hangover’ to name but a few.
Students are encouraged to volunteer with RAG by following updates on the SUSU RAG page and liking the page: ‘Be A Big Give Champion’ on Facebook. Students are able to volunteer throughout the week and each volunteer will receive a free Big Give t-shirt and entry to the larger events.
All money raised will be split between RAG’s 3 main charities: Solent Mind, Teenage Cancer Trust and Wateraid.
