ECS Entrepreneurs will be hosting a Dragon’s Den event on campus on Saturday 2nd May 2015. All students and graduates from 2014 are eligible to participate in the event, pitching business ideas for real investment.
The event will enable students to connect with 4 high-profile entrepreneurs who are prepared to invest thousands of pounds.
An audience of 150 people is being brought together to watch 6 students pitch their ideas to the 4 entrepreneurs.
ECS (Electronics and Computer Science) Entrepreneurs offers students a platform where they can express their ideas and engage with their interests, as well as putting them on the fast-track for launching their tech start-ups.
Zilong Wang, 25, ECS Chairman and PhD student, said:
“Entrepreneurs are getting younger and younger; we must fuel their spirit and passion.”
A recent Nectar survey found that 80% of young people in Britain would like to set up their own businesses in the next 5 years.
