Man Stabbed in Southampton


A man has been left with a punctured lung after being stabbed on Shirley Road in  Southampton following a disagreement with another man.

The 21-year-old victim was allegedly involved in a disagreement with another man & woman, and was stabbed with ‘a sharp object’ at approximately 7pm on Saturday, October 17.

The attacker is described as being Asian, with short black curly hair and a beard. He seemed to be in his late twenties and was wearing a tracksuit with a white stripe on it.

The victim was rushed to Southampton General Hospital and is now recovering at home.

Police are appealing for witnesses/information, and are specifically keen to speak to a cyclist who provided assistance to the victim.
