The University of Southampton has risen three places to 14th place in the Times Higher Education ‘table of tables’, up from 17th position last year.
This university ranking method collates data from the UK’s 3 main university league tables – The Complete University Guide, The Guardian University Guide and the Times Good University Guide.
After placing 14th in both the Complete University Guide and Guardian tables, an 16th in the Times’ rankings, it comes as no surprise that Southampton has risen a small number of places this year.
Two years ago, the University was ranked 20th in this same ‘table of tables’.
Cambridge and Oxford are 1st and 2nd respectively, with Southampton coming 9th out of all the Russell Group Universities.
