Southampton has been named the world’s 60th most international university in rankings published today by Times Higher Education.
Qatar University topped the list with an ‘international outlook’ of 99.9. The ‘international outlook’ measurement takes into account the proportion if international staff and students based at each institution, as well as the number of research papers that have one or more co-authors from other countries. The highest ranked UK university in the list was Imperial College London, with an ‘international outlook’ of 96.0 compared to Southampton’s 88.4.
