64% Of Southampton Students Would Describe Their Landlord As “Exploitative”

Nearly two-thirds of Southampton students describe their landlord or letting agent as exploitative and a third aren’t satisfied with their term-time accommodation, according to the Big Southampton Survey 2016. And most students don’t think the Union or University do enough to help.

However, 63% of students would recommend their current landlord, even though 66.2% said they weren’t satisfied with the price of their accommodation.
