Freshers’ 2016 has come around already and campus is absolutely buzzing this Move in Weekend. We’ve rocked up to Highfield and interviewed some of the budding new Freshers about what they (and their parents) are most nervous about for the coming year.
These three international freshers are worried about a possible language barrier.
Post-graduate Jethro and his parents were worried about accessibility on campus. No need to worry Jethro, our campus is very well-equipped for your needs!
Beth is nervous about living alone. Don’t worry Beth, be thankful that you won’t have to hear your flatmates having super loud sex, or having to clear up their vomit.
Jack’s Parents are nervous that they’ll miss him now he’s moved away from home.
Jack is more worried about making friends with his flatmates. By the end of the year, you’ll be surprised you were ever concerned.
Alex’s parents are worried he won’t be able to cope away from home.
Alex is more worried about student finance. Tell us about it!
And last but not least, Dave is nervous about being a lightweight. It’s actually cheaper to be a lightweight. Sucks to be you if you don’t get drunk quickly.
