Majority of Times Young Rich List Did Not Go To University


An analysis of the Sunday Times 2016 Young Rich List has revealed that only 24% studied at University.

Upon studying the list TG Escapes observed that 76% of the people on the list did not attend University. 40% of the list works in the sports industry and 37% earn their money in creative industries, whilst 85% are self made billionaires, 2% are lottery winners and only 24% went to private school.

The young rich list is limited to British people under 30 years of age, 5 of the people on the list also make the list of the 1,000 richest Britons. Together the people on the Young Rich List are worth £3.372 billion.

Claiming the number one spot on the list is 30 year-old Tom Persson, whose Grandfather founded H&M. Whilst the Swedish born billionaire has climbed from No.2 on last years Young Rich List he has fallen from 603 to 722 in Forbes Global ranking of billionaires.
