The Pause Logo Competition Has A Winner

Over the summer, Pause ran a competition for people to have the chance to design the new logo for the section.  Myself and the image editors, Bryony Wellburn and Sasha Spaid, received a fantastic amount of creative, inventive and brilliantly designed entries, and the final decision on which submission to use was a very difficult one.

In the end, the entry that stood out as the one that best encapsulated the spirit of Pause was the logo below, designed by Simon May:

We felt that this image best demonstrated how diverse Pause is as a section, whilst also showing that we’re lighthearted in tone and aim to provide the best entertainment the Wessex Scene can offer to our readers.

Thank you to everyone else who submitted an entry, as they were all to such a high standard and made me very proud to be the editor of a section people can be so passionate about.  Congratulations again to Simon for his winning entry.

I can’t wait to carry on taking Pause to new levels as the year progresses, we’re only just getting started!
