UPDATE: Three Men Raid Post Office in Portswood

Three men raided the Post Office on Portswood Road yesterday, taking ‘large quantities’ of money, according to the Police.

The Daily Echo has confirmed that three men made their way into the Post Office, and left with a cashier’s tray.

The men in question are said to have fled the scene in a Vauxhall Astra, heading towards the direction of Brookvale Road.

The police have said that none of the staff were threatened or harmed, and that they have details of what the three suspects look like.

According to the Echo, one of the men was white, of stocky build, and wearing an orange bandana.

The second suspect was of similar appearance, but also wore a black hooded top and had his face covered.

The final suspect was of a skinny build, and wore a grey hooded top with a mask or scarf around his face, covering it.
