The ‘Tables of Tables’ Ranks the University of Southampton 17th

The University of Southampton has been placed 17th in the Times Higher Education Tables of Tables 2017 and has been placed 11th out of the Russell Group Universities.
The rankings are collated from the top three UK University ranking tables – The Complete University Guide, The Guardian University Guide and The Times and The Sunday Times Good University Guide. These guides base their scores on student satisfaction scores, student to staff ratios, graduate prospect and entry grades.
The top 3 places in the rankings were unchanged from last year, with the University of Cambridge, the University of Oxford and St. Andrews at the top.
Sadly, the University dropped 3 places from the 2016 rankings; however it is still in the Top 20.
In the 2016/2017 QS World Ranking the University of Southampton was placed 87th overall; but 17th out of the UK Universities.
