The house, aptly named ‘Four Views’ due to its location on a hillside off Oliver’s Battery Road North, was designed by architect Andy Ramus of AR Design Studio based in both Hampshire and Dorset.

Ramus’ concept behind the building was designed on the basis of the 3 Ns: nature, natural air and natural light. This is greatly achieved via the vast input of largely framed windows and clean open spaces that manifest light throughout the natural circuit of the house. In addition, the building has been given its own quality charm due to its mesmerising views over Winchester city.

AR Design Studio, who specialise in renovations, extensions and the production of beautiful modern homes, have won numerous awards for their stunning architecture and designs, including the RIBA Downland Award, the Fareham Society Design Award and the Best of Houzz Prize, among others.
