University of Southampton have recently released a statement ensuring students that upcoming loans and bursaries are still going to be paid.
The current situation for Student Finance England (SFE) is that they are still going to be releasing to students the last instalment of maintenance loans, due to be paid into accounts during April. This comes after some expressed fears that loans would be withheld now that many students are staying at home.
Similarly, bursaries from the university itself, for students whose household income is less than £25,000, is still due to enter accounts around the 18th May.
However, if anyone has any questions, or facing financial difficulty, the university are requesting you get in touch with stufunds@soton.ac.uk in order to sort out any issues.
